On November 26, National Milk Day is observed throughout India in honor of Dr. Verghese Kurien, the man credited with spearheading the White Revolution. He was a key player in “Operation Flood,” which boosted India’s dairy industry towards the status of the country’s largest self-sustaining industry.
In this connection, the @amul_india team, in collaboration with Kashmir Harvard, organized a painting competition, which was supervised by a reputed artist of the valley, Mr. Noushad Gayoor.
