POEM RECITATION COMPETITION

GUIDELINES FOR POEM RECITATION:
- The preliminary round will be held on 18th of February, 2021 at 11:00am and the students need to compete in the preliminary round for their selection for finale.
- The shortlisted students from preliminary round shall compete with each other for finale.
- The finale of Recitation Competition shall commence at 11:00 am on 19th of February, 2021.
- The recitation of the poems shall commence at 11:00 am and shortlisted students need to be present in school auditorium at 10:45am.
- Students need to speak clearly, slowly and loud enough to be heard by the audience.
- Students will be judged for their creativity style, originality, presentation and clarity of language.
- Students need to speak with passion and excitement and maintain good eye contact with audience.
- Students need to memorize the poem properly and should avoid use of paper during recitation.
- Students can seek assistance from their English teacher for proper deliverance.
- Students need to follow proper SOPs like use of facemasks, maintaining social distance keeping in view Covid crisis.
- The winners shall be announced by honorable Chairman and esteemed Director of the school on the same day .
POEM RECITATION COMPETITION

GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE POEM RECITATION:
- The preliminary round shall be held on 18th of February, 2021 at 04:00pm and the students need to compete in the preliminary round for their selection for final competition.
- The link for the competition shall be forwarded in the respective classes 10 mins prior to the commencement of the competition.
- The shortlisted students from preliminary round shall compete with each other in the finale.
- The finale of Recitation Competition shall commence at 04:00 pm on 19th of February, 2021 and shortlisted students need to prepare themselves 5 mins prior to the prescribed time.
- Students need to speak clearly, slowly and loud enough to be heard by the audience.
- Students will be judged for their creativity style, originality, presentation and clarity of language.
- Students need to speak with passion and excitement.
- Students need to memorize the poem properly and should avoid use of paper during recitation.
